Holiday By The Sea, a benefit for the 38th annual Hawaii Visitor Industry Charity Walk, is Wednesday (Nov. 4) at Royal Kona Resort.

The 5 p.m. event features a dinner plate from Don The Beachcomber Restaurant and live, local entertainment from Makanau, Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winner John Cruz and fire spectacular by Te Ea O Te Turama.

The event also features a silent auction of locally made crafts and certificates for dining, activities and hotel stays.

Cost is $20 per adult, which includes entry and dinner; $10 per adult for entertainment only. Tickets for keiki ages 6 to 12 are $10 (including entry and dinner); $5 for entertainment only. Children younger than age 5 enter free.

All ticket and auction proceeds benefit the charity walk to be held in May 2016. All funds raised through the walk remain on the Big Island to support nonprofit organizations.
